I am deeply honoured to serve as the Chairman of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Kozhikode-Malappuram Chapter. I am excited to outline my priorities for the coming year.Together, we will focus on several key areas to enhance our profession and enrich the experience of our members and students:

(1) Enhancing Professional Development: One of our primary goals is to elevate the quality of our members through a series of professional development programs. These programs will cover a wide range of topics relevant to cost and management accounting, finance and taxation which ensuring that our members are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge needed to excel in their careers.

(2) Empowering Student Skill Development: We are committed to nurturing the next generation of cost accountants by organizing comprehensive skill development programs for our students. These initiatives will provide practical insights and hands-on experience, preparing our students to meet the challenges of today's competitive business environment.

(3) Increasing Visibility of Our Profession: It is crucial to raise awareness about the invaluable contributions of cost and management accountants. We will undertake initiatives to enhance the visibility of our profession in the community and showcase the pivotal role that CMAs play in business decision-making and financial management.

(4) Strengthening Chapter Membership: Our chapter thrives on the active participation and engagement of its members. We will focus on strengthening our membership base by conducting membership drive programme and collaboration with members. Together, we will build a strong and supportive CMA community that fosters mutual learning and advancement.

(5) Promoting Ethical Practices: Upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity is fundamental to our profession. We will emphasize the importance of ethical practices among our members and students, promoting a culture of honesty, transparency, and accountability in all aspects of our profession.

(6) Opening new extension centers in Malappuram District: Recognizing the need for expanded accessibility and outreach to the members and students, we aim to establish new extension centers in Malappuram district. This initiative will bring our services closer to a broader community, facilitating greater participation and engagement of members and students.

I encourage each of you to actively participate in our chapter's initiatives and contribute your ideas and insights. Your involvement is essential in shaping the future of our profession and ensuring our chapter's continued success.
